Begin your journey by crossing the dramatic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, then continue through cinematic Ouarzazate to reach the breathtaking Dades Valley, known for its winding roads and red rock formations. Overnight in a traditional guesthouse.
Travel through the lush Dades and Todra Gorges, stopping for a walk along the towering canyon walls. Reach Merzouga and set off on a camel trek into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy a magical night in a desert camp with Berber music under a sky full of stars.
Catch the sunrise over the dunes before heading north. Journey through the Ziz Valley and the cedar forests near Midelt. Pass by the “Little Switzerland” of Morocco, Ifrane, then arrive in the spiritual city of Fes. Overnight in a charming riad in the medina.
After breakfast, visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis and the imperial city of Meknes with its historic gates and mausoleums. Continue toward the Rif Mountains to reach the picturesque blue city of Chefchaouen. Free time to explore its charming alleys. Overnight in a local riad.
Leave the mountains behind and drive to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Explore highlights like the Hassan Tower and the Oudayas Kasbah. Continue to Casablanca for a short panoramic tour of the Hassan II Mosque and the Corniche. Overnight in Casablanca.
