Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley
Start your Sahara journey with a scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains via the stunning Tizi n'Tichka Pass. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, famous for its ancient kasbahs and Hollywood movie sets. Continue to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert, then head toward the spectacular Dades Valley. Overnight in a charming hotel with dinner and breakfast included.
Day 2 - Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Dunes – Desert Camp
After breakfast, drive through the dramatic Todra Gorges, one of Morocco’s most impressive natural canyons. Arrive in Merzouga, the edge of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, where your sunset camel trekking adventure begins. Ride your camel through golden dunes to a luxury Sahara desert camp. Enjoy Berber music around the campfire, dinner under the stars, and a private tent with full comfort.
Day 3 - Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Wake up early to witness the Sahara sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast and a quick sandboarding session, begin the return journey to Marrakech. Travel through the Draa Valley, filled with palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Stop in Ouarzazate before crossing the High Atlas Mountains back to Marrakech.
